The arch pendants are made up of a mild steel hollow mainframe, powder coated with a clear lacquer to maintain the raw industrial look. The copper plating of the globe lamp sections allow for a stylish contrast desired by the architect.

Blackfriars House – Manchester is an exciting development by locally based property owners Bruntwood.  The revitalisation of the common areas and work spaces bring together the working community in a stunning design by architectural practice MgMa Studio.

Studiotech worked with MgMa Studio to develop their concept, providing technical and detailed design of the bespoke pendants followed by fabrication and supply.  Our sister company IBT Controls were responsible for the installation and controls of the lighting.

The pendants at Blackfriars House are a mix of industrial and contemporary.  The industrial steel arch pendants provide a focal point in designated areas, with the copper pendant clusters adding a complimentary lighting arrangement throughout the building.  Both styles of pendant are an example of Studiotech’s bespoke capabilities.

The lighting is just one of many features that bring together such an incredible space, Studiotech are delighted to have been involved and to add another project to our bespoke portfolio.
