Iconic Disco Ceiling Enhances New Century Manchester Experience
Studiotech was brought on board by Russells WBHO (Main Contractor) and Crookes Walker Consulting (MEP Design) to assist with the replacement of the lighting to the ceiling. As the baffled ceiling is one of the many listed features of the building, Studiotech had to be sensitive to the history. The original bulbs were from the 1960s – incandescent, coloured glass.
Studiotech supplied RGBW fixtures controlled by Traxon e:cue Sympholight controls and custom ‘action pad’ control panel, giving the ‘disco ceiling’ a new lease of life.
