Studiotech brought in to illuminate The Spine

Studiotech were brought in to illuminate The Spine – the Royal College of Physicians’ new £35-million northern headquarters in Paddington Village – to honour the 72nd birthday of the National Health Service.

The lighting up by Morgan Sindall was sponsored by project engineers A&B Engineering as a gesture of appreciation for the incredible service the NHS has delivered for the past 72 years.

The 160,000 square foot building, designed by architects AHR, is clad with a ceramic frit façade, complete with 23 million unique voronoi polygons that mimic human skin, which were all the more visible during the celebration.

Studiotech façade solutions can be found here.
