‘reflection portal’ interactive guest experience at yotel glasgow!
As part of the interactive guest experience throughout the hotel, ‘Reflection Portal’, is an interactive light art installation that marks the beginning of the immersive journey through Yotel Glasgow.
Working closely in collaboration with Artin Light, Studiotech brought the vision to reality by developing a solution which included LED pixel boards set behind an infinity portal behind mirrored glass, giving the illusion of a world of movement, light and animation surrounding the guest’s reflection.

LED pixel boards are strategically positioned behind an infinity portal with mirrored glass, creating a captivating, dynamic visual display.
Integrated geotags and depth-sensing cameras track movement in the lobby, triggering the digital content in real-time. As visitors move through the space, the system activates immersive animations, providing a responsive, interactive experience that blends cutting-edge technology with a visually stunning design.
Experience
Reflection portal gives the illusion of a world of movement, light and animation surrounding the guest’s reflection. Integrating geotags and depth sensing cameras, the digital content is activated when movement in the lobby is detected, immersing the guests in a world of 3D animation and custom video.
