- Product focus:Studiotech chose to use Traxon Washer Allegro RGB LED luminaires to wash gracefully behind the pyramids. These fittings were an ideal solution as the varying beam angles allowed Studiotech to achieve an equal distribution of light that was required behind the tensile pyramids.
The NEC is Birmingham’s number one venue for events and shows. The arena is known for hosting world renowned events such as Crufts and The Commonwealth Games.
During a recent multi million pound facelift, Studiotech were introduced to the scheme by tensile specialists Base Structures to assist with the illumination of the façade pyramid structures.
Each translucent pyramid was to be backlit to create a more attractive and engaging environment for all stakeholders. Studiotech assisted Base Structures by providing the detailed design, supply, installation and programming of the feature lighting.
