Studiotech have been responsible for delivering the feature lighting to various areas throughout the project including linear facade feature lighting, catenary lighting and not forgetting the illumination of the giant Mecanno Liver Bird.
The 30ft sculpture was commissioned by The Derwent Group, Liverpool City Council and Spin Master – the owners of Meccano and designed by internationally-renowned local artist Emma Rodgers to commemorate Liverpool-born toy-maker Frank Hornby and the first Mecanno factory.
