During a major refurbishment at The Mander Centre, Wolverhampton, Studiotech was asked by Colman Architects to assist with the feature lighting throghout the project.
Taking Colman Architect's concept, Studiotech designed, manufactured and installed bespoke, acryllic, oval feature lighting to a number of areas across the centre.
Following successful completion of the first two phases, we have also recently received an instruction to complete additional feature lighting within the atrium which will be completed early 2017.
Studiotech was approached by Bowmer & Kirkland to assist with the delivery of the feature lighting to the reception area within the new development 'Tomorrow' at Media City, Salford.
Taking Chapman Taylor's designs and working closely with the design team involved, Studiotech provided the supply, installation and initial programming of the 'Tomorrow' feature signage which also had to be carefully integrated within the rubber panelling behind the reception desk.
We also provided the supply and installation of the feature strip lighting to highlight the pivoting room dividers in the reception area.
In addition to having recently celebrated a commendation at the Lighting Design Awards, the NOMA Earth Tubes team, comprising Studiotech, Cundall Light4 and Traxon/Osram, has entered the scheme into the 'Best Light Art Scheme; High Budget' category in the Darc Awards 2016. The Earth Tubes project sits amongst many fascinating lighting schemes within this category and we excitedly wait to see if our unique project gets shortlisted. Good Luck team NOMA!
Studiotech was tasked to replace the control system on Liverpool University's Engineering Building so the facade lighting would be fully addressable. Using Traxon e:cue products, our engineers worked hard to replace the system in just one day. The install was completed on time for the university to light their facade in pink and green in support of Huntington's Disease Awareness Week.
